Located in Detroit, something described as a ghoul, was found to haunt only the bedroom at first. Described as a “bludgeoned woman wearing a blue dress, fur jacket, ” and sporting a face of a decomposing corpse. Who was this scary entity? Perhaps she was murdered either in the house, near the house , or in a building that stood once where the new house was built on the property. Perhaps, she is buried in an unmarked grave near or under the house. As this is currently a private residence, it is unclear as to whether it is still haunted by this entity.
This Grand Rapids Mansion in haunted by mischievous spirits that like to tease the living. During the 1940s, the mansion became a nursing home for elderly women, for about 12 years. Afterward, it was transformed into an apartment building and after that it was renovated by the owners to be a private residence again. It is presumed still haunted. The presences are accepted residents with quirky idiosyncrasies, who like to tease the living, but expect the living to be well-mannered and respectful.
Originally bought as a fixer-upper by a young couple, Mr. & Mrs. B, who were eager to make it into their dream home, the house is described as having a basement, two floors and an attic, along with having a few angry ghosts with nasty attitudes, determined to drive this young couple out of their newly renovated dream home. The house felt strange from the start, and had a characteristic coldness to it. Most of the manifestations happened at night. There were cold spots felt, scratching at the outside of windows and a malevolent presence in the basement that would wail and could be heard walking slowly up the stairs to the kitchen. Unless the house has been through a cleansing by an exorcism or torn down, it is presumed to be still haunted.
