Plot Summary

After a traumatic attack on Halloween night forces Laura to become a shut-in, her world turns in on itself even more as she experiences increasingly bizarre and frightening things in her home. Because of this, she finally seeks help in the form of Elizabeth Dean, the webmaster for a popular ghost-hunting site. Dean is a scammer who does not believe in ghosts herself, but as she is increasingly drawn into the mystery of Laura’s nightmare ordeal, she becomes a true believer.

Main Characters

Jillian Byrnes is Laura Kove… An agoraphobic schizophrenic afraid to leave her house after the events of the previous October left her traumatized.

Marianne Hayden is Nikki Brandt… the one and only person in whom Laura can trust.

Jennifer Servary is Elizabeth Dean… scam artist extraordinaire who poses in the guise of a ghost-buster medium and winds up entangled in Laura’s nightmare.

Kevin Quinn is Malcolm Dixon… the villainous mortal and spook who will stop at nothing to continue his apathetically evil reign of terror.
