Paranormal Overview
• Breaking glass is one of the ways this spirit makes itself known to the living.
Tom and I stopped by to visit the University of Wisconsin, in Madison, to check out a few buildings. The Science Hall is a beautiful 4 story, castle-like, red brick building, built to be fire-proof! The style reminds me of a Victorian/Italian castle. It is home to The Environmental Studies Library, Geography Library, and Map and Air Photo Library, as well as Science Departments, and science graduate studies, including: Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development Graduate Program, The Department of Geography, and Water Resources Management Graduate Program…

DESCRIPTION:
Tom and I stopped by to visit the University of Wisconsin, in Madison, to check out a few buildings. The Science Hall is a beautiful 4 story, castle-like, red brick building, built to be fire-proof! The style reminds me of a Victorian/Italian castle. It is home to The Environmental Studies Library, Geography Library, and Map and Air Photo Library, as well as Science Departments, and science graduate studies, including: Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development Graduate Program, The Department of Geography, and Water Resources Management Graduate Program.
HISTORY:
The original Science Hall was erected in 1877 to provide laboratories and offices for all science and engineering departments. However, after only seven years in existence, a fire destroyed the building. The present Science Hall was constructed on the same location in 1887 and was the first completely fireproofed building on campus. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.

HISTORY OF MANIFESTATIONS:
A fire destroyed the first Science Hall in 1886. Perhaps someone didn’t make it out in time, or someone’s life’s work went up in smoke!
Some science student or professor perhaps died before he had time to finish his project.
MANIFESTATIONS:
The fourth floor of the building, now used for storage, seems to have an unseen, male presence.
When people do visit the fourth floor, many witnesses have seen beakers deliberately fall off the shelves, one at a time, letting the living know of its presence.
STILL HAUNTED?
Most Probably.
It seems to be haunted by this presence, which no one has reported actually seeing, but many have seen the beakers take a dive off the shelves all by themselves, with the help of unseen hands!
